Join us on Sunday 26 July 2026 to find out more about Tetbury’s history as a wool town .
There is a reason why Tetbury celebrates with the annual Woolsack Races and this walk is the perfect partner to our Wool Fair coming in October.
Much of Tetbury’s wealth in those days came from sheep and wool and many of the oldest houses in town had connections in one way or another to the trade. Join Jane Haines from the History of Tetbury Society (HOTS) to find out why many buildings have intriguing stories to tell!
Tickets are just £5 (plus booking fee). The money will go towards further research on the town’s history.
These popular history walks sell out really quickly so do not delay – book your ticket today
