WHO WE ARE
Tetbury Goods Shed came into being with the community-based objective to give the people of Tetbury and the surrounding areas the opportunity to discover, learn, enjoy and practise a wide range of visual, literary and performing arts. To achieve this, the Trustees aim to a provide well-equipped arts facility along with a comprehensive programme of performances, exhibitions, classes and discussions.
In 2019 we added two further imperatives to this community aspiration: namely to be financially sustainable and to have an ongoing artistic ambition, whatever the genre.
Our measure of success is therefore about balancing the needs of the local community with the requirement to pay our way and to deliver the best art possible within our capabilities.
VOLUNTEERS
We couldn’t function without our wonderful team of volunteers. From events to the bar, to fixing the internet, our diverse and enthusiastic team is jolly fantastic. Want to join us?
TETBURY RAIL LANDS REGENERATION TRUST
Tetbury Rail Lands Regeneration Trust (TRLRT) was set up to raise funding and to support the development of the plans for the Rail Lands. The TRLRT became incorporated in 2000 and a registered charity in 2002.
Tetbury Rail Lands Regeneration Trust is a charity which is turning the site of Tetbury’s former GWR railway land into a series of community assets for the people of the town and the surrounding area. TRLRT was set up with primary responsibility for its development for the people of Tetbury, the local area and the town’s many visitors.
