This month’s sessions in our new Sunday Folk series. Enjoy relaxed Sunday afternoons of music with some of the finest folk acts around.

Pagoda Project was created by Paul Hutchinson (piano accordion), of the much-loved duo Belshazzar’s Feast, and theatre composer Karen Wimhurst (clarinet). They bring together a unique blend of traditional folk music with jazz improvisation to create a warm and dynamic sound.

Frome based trio Lorikeet combine different styles of world music, lacing together beautifully into an original and modern sound with storytelling at its core. Rich vocal harmonies from Heather Truesdall (cello), Rosanna Schura (guitar) and Dave Smith (percussion).

With a repertoire encompassing well known shanties and chorus songs, traditional ballads, songs from Gloucestershire and songs from her own family, Debra Hannis is also a fine flautist, specialising in 18th and 19th century English country dance tunes

There will be a selection of tables and chairs set out in the hall for you to choose from on arrival.
