Light and colour dominate Alison Vickery’s work, much of which is inspired by walks along pathways, through the countryside and by the side of canals and rivers and coast paths.
Textiles in all their forms – silk, cotton, wool, paper – and a variety of different techniques: hand and machine stitching, collage, weaving and felting.
All are welcome to this free family event at The Goods Shed where Tetbury Police Museum and Courtroom will be unlocking the secrets of crime detection through history
Laurel’s signature, large abstract paintings are primarily an exploration of colour and mark making, whose busy, crowded surfaces take your eye on a journey of discovery.
