Honest and heartfelt, Brian Wilcox weaves his blend of observational lyrics together with simple guitar. Expect no fireworks or glitter cannons but do expect to be charmed and captivated by thought-provoking and engaging songs.

Based in Gloucestershire, Brian has been writing songs and playing guitar since he was a child. This afternoon he will be joined by musical colleagues that make up The Collective bringing vocals, acoustic guitar and on percussion an African drum.

Brian released his debut album Sometimes, in 2025, being a collection of songs written over the last 25 years.

Do come and join us – you can enjoy some super music, meet your friends as well as maybe making new ones. Tickets are just £5 or £6 on the door.

And our Whistle Stop Café will be open if you fancy a nice cup of tea (or coffee) and Sasha’s cakes are more than delicious – what a lovely way to spend an afternoon. There will be a selection of tables and chairs set out in the hall for you to choose from on arrival.
