Special guest Steve Allen will be on site talking about his work on the Muppets and Fraggle Rock. Tickets will be on sale for his special charity fund raising talk at The Goods Shed in December.
Kev F Sutherland has been writing and drawing comics for everyone from Beano to Marvel, Doctor Who to Viz, Red Dwarf to The Dandy and all points in between for some years now. His first three graphic novels, Findlay Macbeth, The Prince Of Denmark Street, and The Midsummer Night’s Dream Team were published in 2020, followed by Comic Tales From The Bible in 2022. His latest, Richard The Third, came out in 2023. If you like your Shakespearean and Biblical comic adaptations with a twist, you’ll love his books.
British comics artist, Brian Bolland is best known in the UK as one of the Judge Dredd artists for British comics anthology 2000 AD. He illustrated the critically acclaimed 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke, an origin story for Batman supervillain the Joker, with writer Alan Moore. Bolland created cover artwork for the Animal Man, Wonder Woman, and Batman: Gotham Knights superhero comic book series. In 1996, he drew and self-penned a Batman: Black and White story, “An Innocent Guy“.
