Born in December 2006, Shlomi began studying both the violin and piano at the age of four.
His musical journey started at Kiev’s Lysenko Specialized Music School. From 2019 to 2022, Shlomi continued his studies at the Central Music School of Tchaikovsky, in Moscow, under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Vinnitsky. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Shlomi relocated to London, where he currently studies at the Purcell School with Charles Sewart, preparing for his A-levels.
Shlomi has participated in masterclasses with world-renowned musicians such as Shlomo Mintz, Hagai Shaham, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, and Itzhak Roshkovsky, which further refined his skills.
His performance experience is equally impressive: he has played with leading symphony orchestras in cities like Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Odessa in Ukraine, as well as BBC Wales Symphony Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra, among other locations. Shlomi has also claimed several top prizes at international competitions held in Poland, the UK, Romania and Moldova.
He has performed at prestigious venues including the Southbank Centre, Millennium Centre in Cardiff, and St. James Piccadilly. Shlomi also performed at the coronation of the King Charles family in Paris. In 2024, he reached the Grand Final of the BBC Young Musician competition.
